How to Play
Widen or expand your chat box
To do this, please drag the corner of your chat box as shown in the example above. You want to drag it to the width and height of your preference, so that you may view the dialogue with ease in its entirety.
Choices
Dialogue choices are marked as a, b and c. After you've given the choices of responses a read, simply reply with the letter of your choice.

is what marks the end of the regular's response, and will be followed by dialogue choices for you to choose from (a,b,c).
Progression
At the end of each session with a regular, you will be given a progress report. The progress report will present your current reputation level with the regular, along with a visual of the items you have gifted them thus far. To ensure you get your progress report, please join the Odder Otter discord so that you may receive it!
Floor Regulars
Floor Regulars are regulars that provide role-play services for free, and can be found lounging around the ryokan with a looking for party sign.
Floor Regulars are allowed up to 3 players for the duration of the opening. If you would like to participate, please seek the concierge Ascella to be assisted. If you'd like to secure your spot, book the floor regular ahead of opening!
Types of play
The ryokan offers two types of ways to play.

Otome-Style is when the regular presents three selections to choose from as a response. This play style is recommended for those that are new to role-play, or prefer otome-style games.
50,000 Gil
​
As-You-Please is when you opt out of otome-style, and procure your own responses to the regular.
400,000 Gil
Playthrough
If you've pissed off a regular on your first playthrough due to all your chaotic response choices, you may wipe the slate clean and reset your interactions with an individual regular, so that you may experience a different playthrough route. Resetting will mean all gifts, and interactions will be reset.
